Abstract

Studio Beda still faces challenges in managing stock data due to the manual recording process, which often leads to errors and delays in monitoring inventory. This study aims to design a web-based stock management system using the Prototype method. The research method used in this study is applied research with a software system development approach using the Prototype method. Data collection was carried out through three main techniques: direct observation of the inventory recording and management process at Beda Studio, interviews with employees responsible for inventory recording and management, and a literature review of relevant literature on information systems, inventory management, and the Prototype method. This application was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with MySQL as the database. The design process included requirements analysis, UML modeling, interface design, and system testing through Blackbox Testing. The results show that this system can help Studio Beda employees record, monitor, and manage inventory more quickly, accurately, and in a controlled manner. Therefore, the proposed system improves operational efficiency and supports better decision-making.
