Abstrak

The main problem in this study is that learning activities are still focused on teachers, students are less focused on learning and often complain of boredom in participating in learning, resulting in low PPKn learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the results of PPKn learning before and after the guided inquiry learning model in class V of Bontomanai Elementary School, Tamalate District, Makassar City and the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on PPKn learning outcomes in class V students of Bontomanai Elementary School, Tamalate District, Makassar City. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design research and is a type of quantitative research. The sample in this study was 25 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning outcome tests and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques in this study were descriptive data analysis techniques and T-Test tests. The results of the study showed that the results of PPKn learning before the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model in the pretest with an average value of 62. While in the posttest increased with an average value of 94. The results of the t-test analysis on the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes showed that the significance value obtained was good, namely the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on PPKn learning outcomes (Sig = 0.019) was smaller than the specified alpha value of 0.05 (0.019 <0.05). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted which states that there is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model on PPKn learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Bontomanai, Tamalate District, Makassar City.
