Abstrak

Congregational prayer is one of the important practices in Islam that has spiritual and social dimensions. In addition to having greater rewards than individual prayer, congregational prayer plays a role in building discipline, strengthening unity, and strengthening relationships among Muslims. However, some communities, including students at Islamic boarding schools, still lack consistency in performing congregational prayer. This article discusses a socialization activity on the hadith about the virtues of congregational prayer held at Al-Hana Kololilo Barat Islamic Boarding School, Bangkalan, Madura. This community service activity involved around 30 students and was carried out in two stages, namely the delivery of material on the virtues of congregational prayer and the internalization of values through discussion and commitment reinforcement. The results of the activity showed an increase in the students' understanding of the virtues of congregational prayer and their motivation to be more disciplined in its implementation. Thus, this socialization contributed to strengthening the religious culture and better practice of Islamic teachings in the pesantren environment.
