Workshop Kitab Uqudul Lujain Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Remaja Untuk Mencegah Perilaku Seksual Pranikah Diponpes Nurul Ulum Darut Tanzil Umar Zayyadi

Abstract

The phenomenon of premarital sexual deviance among adolescents is a moral emergency that requires comprehensive spiritual intervention, especially within Islamic educational environments such as boarding schools. This activity aims to analyze the implementation of the Uqudul Lujain Book workshop in shaping the character of students to prevent premarital sexual behavior at Nurul Ulum Darut Tanzil Umar Zayyadi Islamic Boarding School. The implementation method utilized a participatory approach through interactive lectures, reading and translation of classical texts, and focus group discussions. The material focused on internalizing the values of social ethics, self-respect, and boundaries of interaction between the opposite sex according to Islamic perspectives. The results and discussion indicate that the students experienced a significant increase in theoretical understanding and moral awareness regarding the importance of protecting themselves from the influence of promiscuity. The book Uqudul Lujain proved to be highly relevant as a reference for moral education because it contains foundational principles for building strong moral character. The conclusion of this workshop affirms that a classical text-based educational approach is effective as a preventive strategy in building adolescent self-awareness to avoid premarital sexual behavior and strengthen students' moral resilience.
