The Influence of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Kalideres District Office, West Jakarta City

In the current era of globalization, agencies must pay more attention to the development of Human Resource Management. Work Motivation and Work Discipline are elements that influence agency performance. This study aims to determine the Effect of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Kalideres District Office, West Jakarta City, both partially and simultaneously. The research method uses quantitative statistics. The population used in this study were employees of the Kalideres District Office, West Jakarta City, and the sampling technique used saturated samples. The results of this study indicate that Work Motivation has a significant influence on employee performance, evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test t count > t table (7,500 > 2.010) and a coefficient of determination of 0.530. Work Discipline has a significant influence on employee performance, evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test t count > t table (8.992 > 2.010) and a coefficient of determination of 0.620. Partially, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on employee performance, work discipline on employee performance, and simultaneously, both work motivation and work discipline on employee performance.
