Abstract

Article writing training for students of SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya aims to improve students' academic competence in writing scientific articles. Using the ABCD (Aims, Behavior, Conditions, and Degree) approach, this training is designed to provide clear and measurable direction. Participants are expected to be able to understand the theory of article writing, compile structured drafts, and use academic references correctly. The training took place from October 1 to December 10, 2024, through interactive learning, group discussions, and individual guidance. The results of the training showed a significant increase in students' ability to write quality scientific articles. The challenges of motivation and time were successfully overcome through an intensive mentoring approach. Participants not only understand the theory, but can also apply it practically, producing articles that meet academic standards. This training contributes to improving students' writing skills, supporting their academic competence, and preparing them for the professional world.
