Abstract

In an organization, conflict is something that cannot be avoided, in fact Conflict will always exist and be present in every cooperative relationship between individuals and groups as well as organizations. Conflict is actually something natural, within a certain time limit can be positive for school development, but must be managed well and carefully, because if it crosses the line it can have fatal consequences. Principal as The highest leadership in the school must be able to manage conflict well, so as to provide positive benefits and avoid negative consequences. so as School principals are required to be able to manage conflict well. The aim of this study to find out school principals' strategies for managing conflicts in the world of education. The method used in this research is to look at events in the field and the results of the research show that the head Schools manage conflict through three strategies, namely collaboration strategies, accommodation, compromise. With the three existing ways of handling conflict It has the ability to reduce or avoid the possibility of disputes or hostility between individuals within the school environment.
