Analisis Rekam Medis Elektronik dengan Metode Pieces di Rumah Sakit X

Abstract

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) PIECES method is a form of digital transformation in recording and managing patient health data that has been required by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia through Permenkes No. 24 of 2022.  This study aims to analyze the implementation of the EMR system at X Hospital using the PIECES method (Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service). This study uses a quantitative descriptive design which aims to describe or describe the evaluation of the implementation of electronic medical records using the PIECES method. This study involved 100 respondents from various work units that interact directly with EMR. The sample was determined based on the Quota Sampling Technique.  Indicates that the implementation of EMR at Hospital X is generally in the good category across all PIECES aspects. The performance, information, and service aspects each received a 100% rating of "good." The economic aspect showed a 98% rating of "good" and a 2% rating of "poor." The control aspect showed a 96% rating of "good" and a 4% rating of "poor." Meanwhile, the efficiency aspect showed that most respondents considered the EMR system to be running well, although several aspects still needed improvement. The conclusion of this study indicates that the implementation of EMR at Hospital X based on the PIECES method has been successful.
