Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the deep learning model at Sekolah Dasar Islam Plus (SDIP) H.M. Subandi in responding to pedagogical transformation in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative case study approach, the research explores the integration of teachers’ technological readiness, the core pillars of deep learning, and Islamic educational values. Data were collected through observations of In-House Training (IHT) activities, in-depth interviews, and analysis of academic documents. The findings reveal that pedagogical transformation was achieved by strengthening teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), particularly in developing Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and utilizing web hosting to support independent digital assessment. The implementation of the deep learning model effectively operationalized the three pillars of mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning while integrating cognitive load management and SOLO Taxonomy-based assessment. Furthermore, the study confirms that Michael Fullan’s 6C competencies and the eight dimensions of the Indonesian Graduate Profile were successfully integrated with the Islamic philosophy of Ta'dib, fostering students’ digital citizenship. This model offers a holistic, adaptive, and value-based prototype for Islamic primary education.
