Abstract

The growth of Indonesia's economy is significantly influenced by the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary sector. In 2022, culinary MSMEs contributed 35.1% of the total MSME production in the country. Despite rapid growth, these businesses face challenges such as limited resources, competition from imported products, and marketing constraints. To overcome these challenges and expand market reach, culinary MSMEs need to leverage digital technologies, especially online marketing strategies. One effective approach is affiliate marketing, where affiliates promote products or services and earn commissions on resulting sales. This paper examines the application of affiliate marketing in culinary MSMEs, discussing its benefits, potential challenges, and case studies that demonstrate its positive impact on brand visibility and sales growth. By understanding affiliate marketing, culinary MSME owners can optimize their digital marketing efforts to enhance competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market.
