Membangun Karakter Ilmiah Guru dengan Implementasi Nilai-Nilai Islam dalam Dunia Pendidikan
Abstract
Teachers play a strategic role not only as teachers, but also as shapers of students' character. Scientific character that reflects integrity, curiosity, critical thinking, and commitment to the search for truth is the basis for achieving quality education. Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility and discipline, are integrated in teacher character development to create a positive learning environment and support students' spiritual and intellectual growth. The research method used is a qualitative approach using literature studies and interviews to explore the experiences and challenges faced by teachers in implementing Islamic values. The research results show that although there are challenges in implementing Islamic values, joint efforts from various parties, including ongoing training and development of relevant curricula, are needed to overcome these obstacles. In this way, it is hoped that teachers can be good role models for students, creating a generation that is intelligent and has noble character.
