Abstract

This study aims to improve the sense of responsibility of fifth-grade students at SD 29 Banyuanyara, Banyuanyara Village, Sanrobone District, Takalar Regency through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) and was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Twenty students participated in the study. Data were collected through observation, reflection journals, and responsibility assessment sheets, which were analyzed descriptively using quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed a significant improvement in students' sense of responsibility, with the average score increasing from 63.5 in cycle I to 84.8 in cycle II, and the percentage of students in the "good" category increasing from 35% to 90%. The application of the Jigsaw model has proven effective in fostering individual and group responsibility, enhancing cooperation, and building students' moral awareness.
