Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of bullying prevention outreach programs for elementary school-aged children at MIS Muhammadiyah Parambambe, Galesong District, Takalar Regency, as well as the factors influencing the success of the outreach program in creating a safe learning environment. The research method used was a qualitative case study approach involving teachers, students, parents, and the school committee as key informants. The results showed that the outreach program consistently increased students' understanding and empathy towards the dangers of bullying, which resulted in a decrease in the frequency of verbal and physical bullying behavior. The success of this program was supported by the active role of teachers as facilitators, parental involvement, the use of participatory methods such as discussions and role-plays, as well as a conducive school environment and strict supervision. Student involvement in interactive activities also strengthened their sense of responsibility in creating an inclusive and safe school atmosphere. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between all stakeholders to implement a sustainable outreach program to build an effective anti-bullying culture and create a safe learning environment that supports the optimal development of elementary school-aged children.
