IMPLEMENTASI PERATURAN KESEHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA SERTA PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI PEKERJA DALAM KEADAAN BERTEGANGAN DI PT. PLN (PERSERO) UP3 AMBON

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is an important aspect in industry, especially for workers involved in high- risk jobs such as Workers Under Voltage (PDKB) at PT PLN (Persero). This study aims to analyze the implementation of OHS regulations for PDKB workers, with a focus on safety procedures, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), training, and supervision conducted by the company. In addition, this study also evaluates the legal protection provided to workers regarding their rights in facing the risk of work accidents. The research method used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with PDKB workers to explore information related to OHS implementation and legal protection. The results show that although the company has implemented OHS procedures and provided PPE, there are still obstacles in the form of a lack of worker awareness about the importance of complete PPE use. This research also highlights the importance of more intensive socialization and education to increase workers’ awareness and compliance with OHS regulations.
