Abstract

The professional ethics of PAUD teachers is an important foundation in the implementation of quality early childhood education, considering the role of teachers as educators and moral role models during the golden period of child development. This article aims to examine the concept of professional ethics and professionalism of PAUD teachers and their integration with Islamic and Muhammadiyah values. The results of the study indicate that the professional ethics of PAUD teachers encompass moral, pedagogical, and social responsibilities supported by mastery of pedagogical, personality, professional, and social competencies. From an Islamic and Muhammadiyah perspective, professional ethics is based on the values of amanah (trust), ihsan (good deeds), exemplary behavior, and enlightenment. The implementation of professional ethics still faces various challenges, so it requires competency strengthening, character building, and ongoing support from institutions and stakeholders. Strengthening professional ethics is expected to produce quality PAUD services and shape a generation that is intelligent, moral, and has character.
