Abstract

This research aims to establish a strong relationship between teachers and students to enhance classroom management, as effective teacher and student engagement can improve classroom management, creating an effective and conducive learning environment. In this study, the research method used is literature review method to be used as the main approach to examine the relationship between teachers and students to determine how it impacts classroom management. In the learning process, the role of the teacher is crucial. Students are one of the components that will determine the success of learning objectives. Learning will not occur if there are no students. Ways to foster teacher and student engagement in efforts to improve classroom management. The relationship between teachers and students should respect each other and understand their roles. A good relationship between teachers and students is crucial. To achieve this, teachers must demonstrate commitment to student learning, foster open and clear communication, build good personal relationships, and use interactive teaching techniques. Additionally, teachers should provide constructive feedback, provide space for student voices, and appreciate student diversity and abilities. By effectively fostering teacher and student engagement, classroom management can be improved, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive learning environment. This allows all students to develop and achieve their best potential.
