This study aims to: (1) Describe the initial reading ability of students before the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media to class II students of MI AS-Shalihin, Gowa Regency (2) Describe the initial reading ability of students after the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media to class II MI AS-Shalihin, Gowa Regency. (3) Analyze the description of the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media to the initial reading ability of class II students of MI AS-Shalihin, Gowa Regency. (4) Analyze the differences in the initial reading ability of students before and after the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media to class II MI AS-Shalihin, Gowa Regency. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of the initial reading ability of students in grade II before the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media in grade II MI AS-Shalihin, Gowa Regency experienced significant changes, after the pretest obtained an average value of 47.83 which indicates a less category, while after the posttest obtained an average value of 63.36 which indicates a sufficient category, with a difference of 15.53. The learning outcomes of the initial reading ability of students after the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media in grade II MI AS-Shalihin, Gowa Regency, experienced significant changes, after the pretest obtained a value of 47.21 which indicates a less category, while after the posttest obtained an average value of 82.14 which indicates a good category, with a difference of 34.93. There is an influence of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media on the initial reading ability of students in grade II MI AS Shalihin, Gowa Regency. Based on hypothesis testing with a significant value of 0.000<0.5, which means that there is an influence of the application of the synthetic analytical structure method assisted by letter card media on the initial reading results of students. There is a difference in the average learning outcomes of those who apply and do not apply the synthetic analytical structure method.
