Abstract

The use of digital technology in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) learning has become a growing phenomenon along with advances in information and communication technology. Various digital media, such as educational animated videos, interactive games, learning applications, and audio-visual media, are being utilized as learning support tools to improve the quality of early childhood learning experiences. This article aims to examine the use of digital technology in PAUD learning from a pedagogical perspective and from an Islamic and Muhammadiyah perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, with data sources consisting of relevant national and international journal articles. The results indicate that digital technology can increase children's interest, engagement, and motivation in learning and help them understand learning materials in a more concrete and engaging way when used appropriately and in a targeted manner. However, uncontrolled use of technology has the potential to negatively impact children's physical and socio-emotional development. From an Islamic and Muhammadiyah perspective, technology is viewed as a tool that must be used wisely, moderately, and oriented towards the welfare of children and the formation of character and noble morals from an early age.
