This study aims to describe the process of internalizing the value of responsibility through the routine activity of disposing of trash among third-grade students at SDN 146 Inpres Bontokanang. The cultivation of responsibility is considered essential as it relates to an individual's awareness in carrying out duties independently. Disposing of trash is chosen as a learning medium because it is a simple activity that holds high educational value when performed consistently. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the routine practice of disposing of trash effectively fosters awareness, discipline, and responsible behavior in students. The internalization process occurs through stages of understanding, acceptance, and habituation, supported by teacher role models, a supportive school environment, and positive reinforcement. This activity also helps establish a clean school culture as part of daily life. Thus, disposing of trash not only impacts the physical cleanliness of the school environment but also serves as an effective medium for character development, particularly in instilling the value of responsibility.
